]]> [email protected] (Autumn Knight) https://autumnknight.zenfolio.com/blog/2018/9/september-2018 Sun, 30 Sep 2018 06:25:34 GMT Alive & well in my world https://autumnknight.zenfolio.com/blog/2013/4/alive-well-in-my-world New to this whole blogging thing, but why not, right?  Anyway, really starting to think about working on me again.  We have this whole challenge at work, plus I'm not only clogging again, but i've started taking Urban Tribal Gypsy dance lessons.  Wow...from one extreme to the other, but it's all good.  Really is making me think about getting  back to working out & hitting it harder than ever.  At 51 it isn't very easy but I know I can do it.  Still wondering what's in store for me as far as being with anyone.  Sort of looking at how I could ever mesh another person into my life or how I could possibly fit into someone's...strange feeling.  And even stranger, other than it would be nice to have someone around or have dinner with, I really don't feel like I'm missing anything.  I have friends, my family and the groups I belong to...hmmmm?

 

Anyway, weather is getting just about perfect for more motorcycle riding too.  Always a great feeling being on the road, alone or with a group.  Some riding groups have a hard time understanding why I won't drink & ride.  Not rocket science.  I don't drink - period.  How can anyone think it's safe? 

 

Re-inventing one's self sometimes isn't as easy nor as hard as you'd think.  After being married a few times, raising kids, still assisting in raising kids I feel the need to just be me.  Those who don't like me...not a big deal, you have a right to your opinion...who knows, I may not like you either (sorry), those who "get" me and my quirky ways, let's sail!  I remember my sister asking me a few years back, about me meeting someone who ends up getting creeped out by all  my Halloween stuff and yes folks, my bedroom is all Halloween, all year round & I'm very comfy with it just like it is.  Well, if Mr. Right comes along at any time and he's creeped out by something as simple as my Halloween room...he isn't my Mr. Right after all.  it would be a dream to find such a person who has a lot of the same passion I have, but until then, I'm living life, my way.
